What if it all began with a flame?
There are moments when everything is there…
And yet, nothing comes.
The ideas are close.
The desire is present.
But something remains suspended.
Like a door left ajar… that never quite opens.
And sometimes, very little is missing.
Not a method.
Not an extra effort.
Just a trigger.
Creativity cannot be forced
We are often taught to “search for ideas.”
To reflect.
To analyze.
To want to produce.
But creativity does not work that way.
It appears when space opens.
When the pressure fades.
When we stop, precisely, wanting.
It is already there.
It is simply waiting to be invited.
Creating a moment… rather than searching for a solution
Before wanting to create, it is sometimes enough to create… a moment.
A moment set apart.
A space different from the rest of the day.
A place where nothing is expected.
Lighting a candle can become this turning point.
A simple gesture.
Yet one that marks a transition.
We no longer go on “as usual.”
We step elsewhere.
The flame as a point of opening
To watch a flame is to return to something essential.
It moves without effort.
It dances without intention.
It illuminates without seeking to convince.
And little by little, something settles.
The mind slows.
Tensions release.
And in this calmer space…
Ideas begin to flow.
The Divine Creative: letting what is already there emerge
The Divine Creative is not there to “give” ideas.
It is there to allow what is already present to reveal itself.
Without pressure.
Without expectation.
Simply by creating the favorable conditions.
To light this candle is to tell yourself:
“I allow myself to create, without seeking to succeed.”
“I let what wishes to emerge come.”
And often, it is in that very moment that something happens.
An idea.
An inspiration.
A new desire.
A simple ritual to rekindle inspiration
Choose a moment when you can be undisturbed, even just a few minutes.
Settle in comfortably.
Light your Divine Candle.
Watch the flame for a few moments.
Then let it come.
Without searching.
Without directing.
You may:
- write a few words
- draw with no purpose
- reflect on a project
- or simply remain there
There is nothing to succeed at.
Only to welcome.
And what if creating became natural again?
Creativity is not reserved for a few.
It is not a rare talent.
It is a natural movement.
An impulse.
Something that flows… when we give it room.
Sometimes, a single gesture is enough to set this movement going again.
A flame.
A moment.
A presence.
And everything can begin to flow once more.
